Question by : How much would a AKC Adult Male (neutered) former Police Dog Cost?
buy for? sell for?

he is 4 years old
he is a trained working dog
he was fixed as a police dog
he was retired early
he was hit by a car while chasing a suspect
we find homes relocate animals

he is definitely AKC registered pure bred

he was one year when he was retired early.
its been 3 years and he was bought then for $ 4000.00
he seems perfectly fine however im not sure about the ability to “work” or the standards of AKC guidelines of work dogs
i am clueless would it help him find a owner who would understand him to get him a exam and seek out a person who cares about the dog as he was a trained working police dog? and would take great interest in the dog his breed and his training or just a person who wants a pet and thinks a German Shepherd is a cool dog?
I’m not buying the dog i am Re- Homing the dog.
He IS A RETIRED EARLY Police dog who was retired when he got hit by a car chasing a suspect i am positive of that he is a registered papered AKC German Shepherd and im not sure when he was fixed i figured that

yes dutchman at 1 year old he was a working police dog he was working when he got hit by a car and that is why he was retired early
i am asking about a AKC Neutered adult dog goes for. he was bought for $ 4000 and now hes neutered.

i had advise from some people to find him a good home that cares of his needs and would train or rehibiltate and his temperment and not to charge adoption fees but screen and seek out the right owner for that dog.
because he is a maucho cool status symbol dog
what do you think???

These dogs are usually adopted by their policeman or another officer on the force that will give the dog a retirement pet home. I doubt you are going to find one for sale.

For 40% of your income through tax , (based on an average annual income of $85,000) would you mind getting?

Question by Julie S: For 40% of your income through tax , (based on an average annual income of ,000) would you mind getting?
Be very open-minded and honest.

Where gas costs $ 4.50 a gallon, food costs about 5% higher than you pay now, and you receive the following.

* Daily allowance if you become unemployed. Benefits during unemployment are part of the social insurance so you do not need to report to any unemployment fund.
* Treatment by a doctor and at a hospital as well as essential medicine are covered by the social insurance. You must however pay a proportion (excess) as a rule.
* Sickness benefit is based on your income if you should become sick or injured. This can be provided for one year.¨
* A rehabilitation benefit or vocational rehabilitation benefit or temporary benefit or early retirement pension if you do not return to work before the end of the sickness benefit period.
* Care allowance if you or your child requires special care in the home as a result of sickness or functional disability.
* Basic benefit to cover any necessary additional costs as a consequence of sickness.
Given, for example, to provide a guide dog for a blind person, transport, costly diet or special food etc.
* Appliances/help for persons who are sick or who have a functional disability.
* Old age pension that has been earned. This is provided from the age of 67. You earn a pension entitlement, even though you may not be in employment.
EXCEPTION: This does not apply if you already have a pension from another country or have ceased to work
* Maternity benefit if you need to stop work because you are pregnant.
* Parental benefit for 44 weeks after birth as compensation for loss of income from work. This is calculated in the same way as sickness benefit. Can be given for 54 weeks if you choose a reduced rate. The benefit period can be divided between the mother and father if both have earned the entitlement, i.e. have been gainfully employed during at lest six of the last ten months. Also applies during adoption.
* Single payment at birth where the person is not entitled to parental benefit.
Also applies during adoption.
* Care benefit or temporary parental benefit as compensation for loss of income while caring for a sick child.
* Child allowance for children below the age of 18.
* Child-care allowance for children between the ages of 1 and 3 that do not attend a publicly- supported day-care centre.
* Benefit to a single mother or father if you are unmarried or single divorced person who is solely responsible for children below the age of 8.
* Maintenance support if you have a claim for maintenance from the other of the child’s parents and the person concerned does not pay maintenance.
* Surviver’s pension if you are a widow or a widower or a person who had earned a pension entitlement in Norway.
* Child pension to a child who has lost a parent and the deceased had earned a pension entitlement
* Funeral grant that is means-tested.
* In the event of occupational injury there are special, more advantageous rules that apply to the calculation of sickness benefit, disablement pension, child pension etc.

EXCEPTION: Does not apply only if you have been posted by an employer in this country to work in a different country for a limited period
or
- you move to a different country.
EXCEPTION: Does not apply if you continue to work in there and do not take up employment in the new country of residence.

Benefits like this are utterly unsustainable. It’s why France and Germany recently elected center-right candidates.

What are reasons a female dog would eat her neborn puppies? This is not my dog! btw?

Question by cutejulie322: What are reasons a female dog would eat her neborn puppies? This is not my dog! btw?
My mom always tells me about this dog. She had a shetland sheepdog when she was a little girl. I Have to say back then spaying a dog in Mexico wasn’t really popular or they would have. Anyway the story: everytime the dog had a litter she ate most if not all. They lived in the city and the dog was inside the house so there wasnt a possibility of another animal eating the pups. My grandpa always made sure the pups n mom were fine after birth and few mins later they wld be gone and he found a piece of one in her mouth one day. This wasnt the first female dog they had so my grandpa although not a breeder, knew how to care for the dog during pregnancy, during labor, after labor, n for the pups. First time this happened they werent sure if it had been the dog who killed them so they didnt do anything. It was the second time she had pups that they noticed. Dunno how but eventually they got rid of the dog. Again this is not my dog and just curious, what u think the reasons for this could be?

probably a temperamental issue- some dogs (among other animals) have no maternal instinct whatsoever.

Sick dog – would appreciate advice/tips please!?

question of lookingforanswers icon confused Sick dog would appreciate advice/tips please!? sick dog – would appreciate advice / tips please
My first 2:01 no standing Yorkie-Poo for about 5 days eating and drinking well (not only what I give her by force) for 3-4 days. Yes, I already took her to a vet and she in heat, she was told she could have a urinary tract infection (cause something to drink more in general I found that odd!), So that their antibiotic and anti-inflammatory shots gave for 3 days in a row hoping that would work, because they have no checks and were only guess what might be wrong (oh the joy of living abroad, UGH!) she put it on ranitidine (Zantac). She started eating and drinking again for about 2 days after the last set of shots and seemed to do okay, but with the zantac. Last night, though it was about every 2 hours I want to go outside and eat grass (which they do not even during the 5 days of no food)! I took her to another vet last week and they have x-ray to ensure there are no obstructions (was clear) and they did blood work, which also showed normal white blood cells means that no infection and slightly high red cells, which they said could be the beginning of gastrointestinal illness was not enough to worry yet. I was wondering if anyone has gone into a similar thing with their dog and actually get answers to what could be wrong? She had no fever at all. Vomited a few times and no diarrhea. Your only / main symptoms are do not want to eat or drink and looking lethargic / sad. I’m still giving her the zantac so if it’s just acid reflux, they should be fine I would think was. Any tips / advice would be greatly appreciated! So even though she had no infection by the blood of the work of the antibiotic and anti-inflammatory shots seemed to help …. in asking if they do not, perhaps, that the treatment long enough something was perhaps wrong to come back! It is very frustrating to live abroad without good Vet care …. Seufzer.Wir let in less than 2 weeks to a month in the U.S. and i dont want to leave her when she is sick! : (Oh and one other strange thing …. they have itching / scratching a lot the last week or so, but her skin does not look red or irritated, no fleas or ticks etc.The vets do not know in this country, what else except X-ray and blood tests …. why do I, I would here in the hope perhaps could answer a veterinarian / thought to ask for help Best Answer.

response from Echo Two
Back to the vet. The situation is obviously complex and requires a professional to sort.
