Question by DROOGIE♥: Would it be hard to take care of a dog & cat both recovering from getting spayed surgery at the same time?
Okay so I have a 12 week old pitbull,
and I want her to get spayed but I
understand that the vet will only spay at
5-6 months of age. yes? well, I have a
cat too. I was told she was a male [which is
why I originally got her] but unfortunately, now
she is obviously pregnant -_-. But what’s done is
done I guess, & I want to get her spayed as well.
Is it a bad idea to get them spayed at the same
time. [Like one day the dog, & the next, the cat]
or should I just wait, and get the cat spayed AFTER
she has her kittens, and then when the pitbull is old
enough, have her spayed at separate times? can I
get your opinion on this?, tips, advice anything? Thanks!:)

If it’s not too late for an emergency spay, you should just get the cat done now. As for getting them both done at the same time, it will be more stressful for you. They should sleep most of the time, but you have double the worry and you will have to watch both to make sure they aren’t picking at their stitches.
